We are pleased to announce that 44° North Rainier Cherry vodka has just been released from the distillery. This new vodka release from 44° North pays homage to the rare and coveted Rainier Cherry that is known throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Rainier cherry is the most pampered and prettiest of cherry varieties. Named for Washington's famed Mount Rainier, the Rainier Cherry is best grown in eastern Washington and western Idaho.

Florida is a long way from Idaho and the northern Rocky Mountain home of the huckleberry. However, it has become a significant and growing market for 44 North. A large part of the success in Florida is due to our wholesaler, Premier Beverage, and one Mark Pruckner. One of the hats that Mark wears at Premier is to oversee the sales of 44 North across the state. He has become a great friend of the brand and a great friend of ours. In this photo, Mark is out working the Florida nightlife on our behalf. Yes, he gets paid for this. Some of us have all the luck.

During the gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ, Wyatt Earp was joined by Doc Holliday, a renowned gunman, in the most famous showdown of the Old West. Wyatt later purchased a casino in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho during a silver rush. Doc Holliday visited Wyatt's casino just before dying in Colorado. Today, many people know that Val Kilmer portrayed Doc Holliday in the movie "Tombstone" and uttered the famous words: "I'm your huckleberry."
People all over Idaho have taken Doc's words to heart and have made 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka the number one selling flavored vodka in the Gem State. One popular way Idahoans call for it over the bar is to ask for a Doc Holliday. This is a combination of 44° North Mountain Huckleberry and Red Bull Energy Drink. Mix together and serve as a cocktail or as a shot. Doc might say: "Shoot to thrill."
